Northwatch Fall Meeting: Sault Ste. Marie Nov 24
CAPT will be making a presentation about passenger rail at the fall meeting of Northwatch on Sat. Nov 24 at 1:00 pm in the Centennial Library, 50 East St. SSM.
Northwatch is a regional coalition of environmental and citizen organizations and individual members in Northeastern Ontario. We encourage all who can to attend to show support for passenger rail and its importance for the environment.
Age-friendly city speaker: Sault Ste. Marie Nov 30
Everyone is invited to attend a presentation by Gil Penalosa, internationally acclaimed placemaking expert and Chair of World Urban Parks, in Sault Ste. Marie on November 30, 10 am to 12 pm at The Tech, to discuss ‘Age Friendly Cities & Walkability’. Let’s make sure that restoration of passenger rail is included in plans for age friendly cities.
